2020 FHSAA Class 5A State Basketball All-Tournament Team

Source Hoops’ Pat Lammer was in Lakeland for the 2020 FHSAA Boys State Basketball Tournament. He will be unveiling All-Tournament teams — one per day — for all seven classes Class 1A-7A. Here is the fifth installment:

5A STATE TOURNAMENT ALL-TOURNAMENT TEAM

MVP: Zackary White (2020), Tallahassee Rickards

The 6-foot-2 senior posted a double-double (20 points, 11 rebounds) in the semifinal victory over Sebring and came back with 19 points and 7 rebounds in the state championship victory over Pembroke Pines Charter. White went 17 for 32 from the field in the tournament, had 7 offensive rebounds and played all but 55 seconds of the two games.

A’Drelin Robinson (2021), Tallahassee Rickards

The 5-10 point guard connected on 11 of 21 field-goal attempts in the tournament. Robinson put up 14 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists in the state championship victory over Pines Charter, while helping hold Nova Southeastern recruit Dallas Graziani to 2-of-17 shooting. Robinson had 16 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 steals in the semis vs. Sebring. He played all but 55 seconds at the final four.

Amarachi Ujagbor (2020), Pines Charter

Ujagbor hit 9 of 11 from the field on the way to a 20-point, 10-rebound semifinals victory over Naples. The 6-6 post scored 13 points to go with 7 rebounds in the state championship loss to Rickards. Ujagbor, who is being recruited by Queens University in North Carolina and Lincoln Memorial in Tennessee, finished the tournament 15 for 19 from the field.

Ke’Varius Taylor (2020), Tallahassee Rickards

The 6-3 senior guard scored 19 points — including 3 of 7 from deep — in the state championship victory over Pines Charter. Taylor had 12 rebounds and 8 points in the semifinal W over Sebring. Rickards outrebounded Sebring 53-30. Taylor, too, played all but 55 seconds of the final four for Rickards.

Javen Flowers-Smith (2021), Pines Charter

Smith, a 6-0 guard, shot 7 of 16 from the field in the state championship game to lead Pines Charter with 16 points, 3 steals and 2 assists. He scored 15 points and had 5 assists in the semifinals win over Naples.
